Teaching At Schools
During my time as a bachelor's student, I embarked on a venture to establish an educational business alongside my friends. Our aim was to address the lack of practical learning and hands-on experiences in the educational system. To achieve this, I collaborated with an investor to establish an educational firm focused on teaching aerospace concepts in schools as an extracurricular activity.
At that time, there was a growing interest in teaching robotics and aerospace in schools through private educational firms. However, we recognized the need for fresh ideas and innovative topics that could genuinely engage students. Our educational approach aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical application, which was often overlooked in the traditional curriculum.
To begin, we targeted private schools, where I worked on persuading principals and parents to allow us to introduce aerospace courses. Employing creative tactics, like conducting scientific shows such as launching water rockets, helped us capture the students' attention and interest. These efforts bore fruit, as we successfully introduced courses within schools. At the conclusion of each course, we organized competitive events, fostering a group-learning environment where students could apply what they had learned.
Over time, our curriculum expanded beyond aerospace to encompass diverse subjects like robotics, mechanical engineering, flight simulation, architecture, and RC airplane models. This growth was made possible by collaborating with state educational centers, along with both state and private schools. Through these partnerships, we managed to provide an enriching educational experience, helping students discover their interests and talents in engineering-related fields.
As the venture unfolded, I not only facilitated learning for young minds but also gained invaluable personal growth. The experience honed my communication skills, boosted my self-confidence, improved my public speaking abilities, and refined my teaching techniques. This journey not only enriched the educational landscape but also provided me with a significant opportunity for self-improvement and skill development.
